This Thangka includes a variety of ritual implements in Tibetan Buddhism. Through careful observation, one might be able to see: White Conch Shells, which represent the peaceful, melodious sound of the Dharma; The Treasure Vase, which represents health, longevity, wealth, prosperity, and wisdom; The Dorje, a ritual weapon symbolizing the properties of a diamond (indestructibility) and a thunderbolt (irresistible force), is also used to represent the firmness of one’s spirit.
